Beetle Horns with Spiced Summer Veggie Roast

The king of the forest now rules the plate. A surreal centerpiece of sculpted beetle horns made from edible crackers, surrounded by a riot of spiced summer vegetables. Is that the beat of the season, or the cry of a beetle in your mouth?

Red bell pepper1
Red onion1/2
Olive oil1 tbsp
Garam masala1 tsp
Salta pinch
Black sesame crackers2
Dark chocolate5g

    Cut zucchini

    and red onion into chunks and toss with olive oil and spices

    Spread on a tray and roast at 200°C for 15 minutes

    Carve the crackers into beetle horn shapes with a knife

  6. 6

    Melt dark chocolate and coat the edges of the horns

  7. 7

    Stand the horn crackers in the center of the roasted vegetables
